Eminem will make his long-awaited return to the stage with a live performance at this year’s MTV Movie Awards the network confirmed on Monday.
There is no clue on what song the Eminem will be delivering at the annual event. Words are, he is expected to sing "We Made You" off upcoming sixth studio album "Relapse" (release date: May 19th). As for other musical guests, announcement will be made in the coming weeks.
The 18th Annual MTV Movie Awards, hosted by SNL’s Andy Samberg, will air on Sunday, May 31 at 9 p.m. on MTV.
For the first time, MTV is letting fans participate in the nominee process. Beginning Monday, April 13th, voting will be opened and viewers will be able to select the nominees for the awards from an eligibility list of over 200 movies, which include "Hannah Montana: The Movie" among Best Movie pre-nominees. Fans can log on to movieawards.mtv.com before April 20 to vote for the nominees.
The nominees of 2009 MTV Movie Awards will officially be announced on May 4th. Voting to determine the winners from each category will run off on May 18, with the exception of Best Movie which will remain open through the show.
